AOBA ICT Hardware Standard Policy
Overview
This document outlines the standard hardware specifications for all equipment provided to new employees at AOBA. By implementing a consistent hardware standard, we aim to enhance efficiency, compatibility, and a cohesive work experience across all roles.
General Provisioning
All teachers and staff are supplied with a 13" MacBook Air and an Apple 30w power adapter.
Additional Equipment
Business & Office Staff:
Business & Office staff will receive a 4K monitor and a USB-C adapter that supports this resolution.
Other Staff:
All other staff members will receive a standard USB-C adapter suitable for their role.
K-G3 Teachers:
In addition to a MacBook Air, K-G3 teachers will also be provided with an iPad.

What happens if I damage/lose my equipment?
If your laptop/monitor/tablet suffers damage, AOBA will cover the cost of one device repair/replacement in a 6 year employment cycle. The cost of any further incidents will be deducted from an employee’s salary.
If you need to replace your accessories due to damage/loss, please contact your coordinator as this will be purchased through your department. Please ensure that any replacement accessories meet our minimum specifications listed above, as this will need to be returned at the end of employment.
If the accessories you return don’t meet our requirements, the cost of a suitable replacement will be deducted from your last payslip.
If you require a recommendation on what hardware to order, please contact ICT.
If you lose your device, please contact the ICT team immediately.
Additional Notes
All hardware provided is company-owned and should be returned in good condition upon termination or at the end of employment.
