Google Chrome

AOBA recommends the use of Google Chrome as the web browser for use due to the integration of Google’s services used at AOBA.

The browser should already be available on all MacBooks provided by AOBA.

Chrome Update

All users should have the ability to update Chrome when there is an update.

There may be times where the version difference is too great or there is a system change in the browser requiring higher permissions. If you encounter the error saying that you don’t have permission to update, please stop by the ICT Office so that it can be updated.

In most cases the update should have no problems however sometimes Google Chrome will not remember which tabs are open resulting in all of your tabs to close. Be sure to bookmark or pin the tabs that you wish to keep.
