Students log on with a text code or a QR code. Seesaw has a built-in QR reader. Teachers can send the code to a parent, or student email address or provide a paper printout (Lower PYP).

Seesaw allows families to view and connect with their child’s learning:
Families connect to Seesaw using a special invite code or link sent by their child’s Teacher.
When something new is added, families receive an email, text or push notification.
Families can choose the notification frequency they prefer.
📘 FAQs
1️⃣ I have updated my email addresses, but I cannot receive any messages.
If you have updated your email addresses with Veracross, remind the homeroom teacher about the change. Ask the teacher to send you another Seesaw Families invite again if needed.
2️⃣ I would like to archive my child’s past works.
Every year, the school will archive all past works on July 31st. After August 1st, our school is getting ready to set up classes for the new school year. We remind teachers to remind parents to download their child(ren)'s work by July 31st.
3️⃣ I think I signed into a different role, what should I do?
Sign out of the account, and re-sign in again as Families.
4️⃣ I do not have any login information for my child, how do I get them?
If you need your child’s QR code for your class, message your child’s homeroom teacher and ask for a QR code.
5️⃣ I want to send a message to my child’s teacher, how do I do that?
6️⃣ I would like to update my email address for the family account, how can I do that?
After you’ve changed your email address with the school, you can inform the homeroom teacher, and they can send an invite to your updated email account.
7️⃣ How do I remove my child’s previous school’s Seesaw account?
Before removing your child’s previous school’s Seesaw account, ensure you have archived their posts before doing so.
Contact the Previous School: Reach out to the previous school and request the child's Seesaw account removal from their system.
Remove the School from the Family Account:
Open the Seesaw app or log in to the Seesaw website.
Tap or click on the child’s profile icon.
Select "Account Settings."
Choose the school to be removed.
Tap or click "Remove School."
Uninstall and Reinstall the Seesaw App
If the account persists, uninstall the Seesaw app from your device and then reinstall it to reset any lingering data.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, contacting Seesaw's support team for further assistance might be necessary.
