How to check out and use the Meta Quest 2? (VR)

Hi there! Are you interested in using the Meta Quest 2 to try out VR? It’s a great way to explore various disciplines through a 360 virtual lens. Below are some quick tips to help you get started.

Aoba has purchased a total of 6 Oculus Quest 2 (now called Meta Quest 2).

2 are at Hikarigaoka Campus
4 are at Bunkyo Campus

Devices have two accounts, ICT Aoba-Japan (Admin) & Aoba Guest (Anyone)

Before checking it out, there are a few requirements:

For general usage, please use the Aoba Guest account.
- Be responsible, do not add ‘friends’ or ‘make any purchases’ or save any sensitive personal information
For longer term usage, you may create a temporary account. You will need a mobile device (iOS/Android) - users need to install the Oculus app and possibly have/create a Facebook/Meta account.
- ICT will delete your temp account on the Meta Quest after you finish using it. (Your Meta account is NOT deleted)
